Text tools are powered by the Lovable AI Gateway (Gemini / GPT models) by default, or your own key if configured. Image generation & editing use OpenAI GPT-Image and Google Gemini image models via the Lovable AI Gateway. These are real, hosted models — usage is bound by the provider's fair-use limits, not truly unlimited.
